Written to be read, not to be skipped. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it properly.
Crediio is a review platform. Most of what it does is public by design — a review exists to be read. This section explains what is collected, what is published, and what is never gathered at all.
If you are simply reading the site, we collect almost nothing. There is no analytics service, no advertising network, no tracking pixel and no profiling. What does exist:
When a review reaches Crediio through a business using our request system, we hold the rating given, any text written, the language of the interaction, the time the request was sent and the time the answer came back, and a fingerprint of the submitted text.
We do not record the reviewer's location. We do not record their device identifiers. We do not build a profile of them, and we do not sell or share their data with anyone.
A review, its rating, its date and its receipt code are public — that is the point of the platform. The business address shown on a profile page is public business information, already listed on mapping services.
This deserves stating plainly: the fingerprint written to the blockchain is permanent and cannot be deleted by anyone, including us. It is a one-way hash, not the text itself — nobody can reconstruct a review from it — but the record that a review existed at a given moment is there for good. If you ask us to delete a review, we will remove it from the site; the fingerprint remains on the chain because that is what makes the system work.
Where the GDPR or similar law applies, you may ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Write to privacy@crediio.com and we will answer within one month. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.
Our web hosting provider necessarily processes the data on our behalf. Payment processing, where it applies, is handled by Stripe under their own terms. Beyond that, nobody. We do not sell personal data, and we will not.
Crediio sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for anything. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
We do use a small amount of local storage — values saved by your browser on your own device, which are never transmitted to us and which you can clear at any time. Each one exists to stop the site being annoying:
| Key | Why |
|---|---|
ip_dismissed_* | Remembers that you closed the install prompt, so it does not reappear every visit. |
rx_lang | Remembers the language you selected, where a language selector is offered. |
None of these identify you. None are sent to our server. Clearing your browser data removes them, and the site continues to work.
If we ever add analytics or anything that does require consent, this page changes first and a consent choice appears before anything is set. That is a commitment, not an intention.
A platform that publishes reviews and testimonials, notarises them on a public blockchain, and lets anyone verify that a published record has not been altered. Using the site means accepting these terms.
A verified review comes from a real customer, collected after a recorded request following an actual visit. A testimonial is an opinion submitted directly, with no verified visit behind it. Both are notarised; only reviews carry proof of a customer interaction, and they are labelled separately throughout. Testimonials do not count toward a verified score.
Crediio does not pay for reviews, in money, tokens, credits, or anything else, and never will. A paid review is a compromised review no matter how securely it is stored. Anyone offering payment for reviews on this platform is removed.
A business may respond publicly to any review. It cannot delete or edit one, and neither can we on request. We remove a review only where it breaks the rules above, is unlawful, or where the person who wrote it asks us to. Every removal leaves the chain record intact, so the history remains checkable.
We promise that a verified review is what we say it is: a genuine response to a genuine request, unaltered since it was written. We do not promise that any reviewer was honest, fair, or correct — no platform can, and any that claims to is selling something. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, though we work to provide it.
Reviews are the opinions of the people who wrote them, not ours. To the extent the law allows, our liability arising from use of the platform is limited to the fees paid to us in the twelve months before a claim, or where no fees were paid, to nothing.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer protection law of the country where you live.
If these terms change materially we will say so on this page and date it. Continuing to use the platform after that means accepting the revised terms.
